As we celebrated the joy of Easter, the Community came together for two fellowship events.
For the first event, the Community was divided into several small groups to share The Emmaus Table – an Easter Agape Meal. This event was not only a time of fellowship with other community members, but also a reminder to keep the joy of Christ’s Resurrection alive in our hearts and minds – not only in the days immediately following Easter, but throughout the fifty days leading to Pentecost.
The second event was an opportunity to spend the public holiday on 1 May together as a Community. The day began with Mass and continued with a time of fellowship for community members. There was football, tombla, and above all, the joy of spending quality time together.
