The Community gathered at the Seminary on Wednesday 17th September 2025 for a time of prayer and to listen to the vision for the coming years. Andrew shared five key points, inspired by the book of Nehemiah.
We are called to see the broken walls of society, the Church, and even our own hearts—not through the eyes of despair, but through the heart of God. That is why everything we do must be rooted in prayer, where faith and hope shape our vision. From there, we discern how we are called to rebuild the walls, one brick at a time, as authentic missionary disciples.
The Community was reminded that we live in a moment of great opportunity, and that salvation is not only God’s gift to His people but also His gift through His people. Just as in Nehemiah’s time, when everyone took part in rebuilding the walls and “the people worked with all their heart” (Neh 4:6), so too are we exhorted by Scripture: “Work for the Lord with untiring effort and with great earnestness of spirit” (Rom 12:11). Various practical ways in which the Community will be living its mission and vision were also shared.
